Congratulations to Kristina Chrastil, our Gift It Forward social media contest winner! She won $250 for herself and $250 was donated on her behalf to Food Bank of Lincoln.

The Food Bank serves 16 counties in Southeast Nebraska and their goal is to alleviate hunger. This nonprofit means a lot to Kristina because they were able to help her family during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We were dependent on the Food Bank of Lincoln to help us with our groceries, and it was such a benefit to know that they were there to assist so I didn’t have to put budget towards that,” Kristina.

MembersOwn also had the opportunity to help Kristina, starting from her first day as a member.

“I decided to join MembersOwn Credit Union following an unhappy experience with one of the institutional banks where I felt more like a payment than a person.”

Since that first day, we’ve had the pleasure of helping Kristina’s family accomplish life goals.

“MembersOwn has helped my family and I towards becoming successful at our ultimate goal of becoming debt-free,” says Kristina.
