Congratulations to Mandy VanLaningham, our Gift It Forward social media contest winner! She won $250 for herself, and a $250 donation was made in her name to Hope Crisis Center (HCC).

Mandy has a personal connection to HCC as their Community Educator and has worked there for over a decade. She says HCC’s work is important. Not only do they provide survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault a path forward, but they also ensure they can live safer, happier lives.*

Mandy became a member of the credit union in 2012 and decided to join after hearing about her family and friends’ positive experiences.

“Everyone I know has had a positive experience at MembersOwn,” she said. “I’ve always been treated kindly, and it’s been a really positive experience for me, from getting loans to the accessibility of banking.”
