Congratulations to Andie Hanke, our Gift It Forward social media contest winner! Andie won $500 for herself, and a $500 donation was made in her name to the Lincoln Animal Ambassadors.

Lincoln Animal Ambassadors address the root causes of animal homelessness by providing pet owners with spay/neuter vouchers and supplies from their pet food bank. This helps keep pets at home with families who love them, but struggle with the costs of caring for them.

“I have a dog that I go home to at night, and after a rough day, the love of my dog just settles me,” Andie says. “With Lincoln Animal Ambassadors, no matter the financial situation, anyone can go home and have that love from their pets.”

Andie and her husband, Ace, joined MembersOwn in 2019. They both liked the idea of being part of something that was connected to the community.

“What I like best about MembersOwn is the relationships we’ve built with the Loan Department,” Andie says. “The trust goes back and forth—they trust us, and we trust them with our financial decisions.”
