Congratulations to Connie Johnson, our Gift It Forward social media contest winner! She won $250 for herself and a $250 donation was made in her name to the Prague Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department where she volunteers.

When choosing her charity, Connie wanted to give back to her community. One of the challenges of living in a rural community is the distance from the amenities of larger cities, like a hospital. Thankfully, the folks of the Fire & Rescue squad are here to help quickly and safely transport patients.

Connie has been with MembersOwn for 30 years, starting with a savings account and then graduating on to checking. She’s even opened accounts for her kids!

“One thing about MembersOwn that I love is that they do enjoy giving back to the community and their members,” Connie said. “They’re always there to help us and pay it forward.”
