Credit Cards Details
My credit card was lost or stolen. Who do I call?
Call us immediately if you believe your card has been lost or stolen, or your credit card account has been compromised in any way – call the Fraud Department at 844-848-0248. When calling, you must have your 16-digit card number, the expiration date and you may need your 3-digit security code found on the back. A reminder to keep this contact information separate from your card in a secure location and available for this purpose.
What happens after that?
Your credit card account will immediately be blocked to stop any potential fraudulent use of your account. That also means you will no longer be able to use your account. A new number will be issued along with a new card. We will notify you of the new number upon request, or you may wait for the card to come in the mail. You must notify any merchant you have pre-authorizations with.
I forgot my PIN. What can I do?
MembersOwn Credit Union does not have access to your PIN. You may call 844-848-0248 and create a new PIN number. In the meantime, you will not be able to do PIN-based transactions. Please keep your PIN secret and do not write it on your card. Never put your PIN with your card.
I am going on vacation. Do I need to contact anyone?
‘Unusual’ use of your card (for example, buying a HD TV in Texas when you live in Nebraska) could flag your account as potential fraud. For your protection, you may receive a call verifying the use of your card. To make sure you have uninterrupted use of your card, notify MembersOwn at 800-588-5365 of your vacation plans.
Are there any credit card fees to keep in mind?
There are no annual fees, over-limit fees or balance transfer fees. However, there is a $25 fee for late payments and a $25 fee if your check payment is returned.
