Congratulations to Tom Vequist on his 3-year service anniversary!

We wanted to know a little bit more about Tom’s time here at MembersOwn so we sat down and asked him a few questions.

 Q: What is your favorite thing to do during your free time?

A: I enjoy spending time with friends, watching sports, and fishing.

Q: What’s one thing you enjoy most about being a lending specialist?

A: I enjoy being able to assist people who have recently gone through tough times. Many of our members come to us after being turned down for credit elsewhere, so it is rewarding to be able to help them out as much as we can.

Q: What do you wish people knew about MembersOwn they might not know?

A: I wish more people knew about the array of products and services we offer at the credit union, as well as our very competitive interest rates.

Q: What led you to become a loan officer at MembersOwn?

A: I began working as Member Service Representative part-time during college, and found that I really enjoyed the ins and outs of banking and finance. A Lending Specialist position then opened up about six months ago, and I thought I would be a great fit, so I took it.
